Comprehensive ballistic protection for the lower body, combining the functions of several gear elements into one. The design provides expanded coverage for the intestines, groin, thighs, and rear pelvic region, effectively replacing a groin protector, thigh armor, and partially a battle belt (war belt/LBE).
The armor kilt consists of two parts, fits snugly against the body, and does not require additional attachment to the plate carrier. MOLLE webbing panels allow mounting necessary gear directly onto the armor kilt, while removable dampening pads increase comfort during extended wear.
Extended protection area
Covers the intestines, groin, thighs, and rear of the pelvis, reducing the number of unprotected zones.
Two independent parts
The front and rear sections are secured to each other with Velcro, allowing the kilt to be adjusted to the wearer's build.
MOLLE zones
Provided for attaching pouches and other necessary gear.
Removable cushioning pads on the belt
Reduce pressure and improve comfort during extended wear.
