Modular armor that extends helmet coverage and protects the most vulnerable area between the helmet and neck. The cover is adapted for modern helmets, with removable ballistic inserts that can be adjusted as needed.
The product consists of two parts: a cover and removable ballistic inserts—side and rear—which attach to the cover and to each other using Velcro.
It is recommended to wear the aventail with a helmet featuring side ear protection: first the active headsets, covered by the helmet with side protection, and finally the aventail with ballistic inserts over the helmet. This sequence prevents contact between the ballistic insert and the headsets, eliminating unnecessary noise.
Extended Helmet Protection
Covers the vulnerable area between the helmet and neck, preventing severe injuries.
Two Removable Ballistic Elements
Side and rear elements attach via Velcro and can be secured as needed.
Two wearing modes
Secured mode (ballistic coverage, adjusted to fit the helmet) or free-hanging on shoulders/neck/back (prevents flapping during movement).
Compatible with night vision devices
Designated space for night vision device mounts and battery box fixation on the cover.
Mounting Space for Accessories
Integrated areas for patches and additional concealment element attachments.
Active Headset Compatibility
