An anatomical component that reduces the load from armor plates and improves comfort. The rigid structural ribs help mitigate behind-armor blunt trauma and distribute impact energy more evenly. The perforated surface provides ventilation, while the shape ensures a snug fit without restricting movement. Attaches via Velcro and is easy to install. An additional attachment point for a gorget is also provided.
